I am not a phone geek but I know how to do things on them as I was rooting phones many years ago when it was cool to do so but no need to do that stuff anymore. I was using a s6 edge + before I bought this.. Its a major upgrade for me . It is about the same size as my old phone, maybe a half inch longer but same width. There is no bloatware garbage on this phone. I use straight talk on the ATT towers, I simply inserted the card and it identified the network automagically with the correct setting, LTE MMS and SMS all worked without having to change a setting. I streamed youtube for an hour to chromecast and the phone barely got warm. Only things I miss, Wireless Charging but it's not a deal breaker because it takes about an hour and 45 mins to go from 0-100% charge and the charge easily lasts me all day and I listen to 3 hours of podcasts a day when I am at work. Unless you are a total phone snob and have to have the latest greatest processor and 12 gigs of ram you will be 100% satisfied with this phone. I would say it's a great phone for 95%+ of the people.
