This Minecraft toy that helps keep the kids mini-figure collection all together was an instant loved toy. The kids love adding to it and it is already almost filled. This cube holds the blind box mini-figures my kids get from a bunch of different stores. The kids never knew what little figure they will get when they open the box and they love that part. I think they love it partially because of the wildly popular youtube videos so many kids now adore, mine included. I believe there are 6 collections of boxes out now, the kids have a few doubles but mostly there is a great variety in their collection. The cube is almost full. They can stuff more on the inside though. I wish the cube was double sided rather than the rock cave pattern on the inside of the cube when open. It is meant to be a play type stage I think. I think it would have been better as more storage like the front of the cube. For those that don't know, Minecraft is a video game found both on computers and video game consoles, though we like the PC version the best as there seems to be so much more one can do with it and different mods. My family of geeks as our own family server and we play and create together. My husband even designed a game inside the game to help the kids drill their spelling words. I love the toys that have come out for this game to bring the game to life more for the kids and get them away from the screens while still letting play what they love. This is a fantastic game and the kids all adore it. This toy fits right in and is a must I think for any kids who loves the minecraft blind boxes. I got this toy for my 8 year old daughter. She is the "collector" in the family and her siblings put their mini-figures in her collector box too! Even our 16 year old daughter likes the minecraft blind boxes!I bought this case for my 7 year old to store his many, many minecraft minifigs in. He filled it up immediately after opening it and used the case to haul his minifigs over to my in-laws. He's excited by the way he can store his minifigs AND STILL SEE THEM, can take them places easily, and can open up the set and have a cave play area for them. The clear plastic doors close securely (and open easily) and the latch works well and seems sturdy.A small number of minifigs (for example, the spider jockey) don't fit in the display area so my child stashes them in the play compartment and keeps it latched closed when he wants to travel with them. The Ender Dragon also doesn't fit (obviously) so when he's at home and not playing with them he keeps it on top of the case. The plastic seems sturdy and not flimsy or brittle. The hinges swing well and the things that are supposed to latch and hold latch and hold nicely. It's easy for my child to open and close the container and to get his minifigs in and out. We intend to use this primarily as a travel toy and not for day to day at home storage. Tucking the figs into the compartments might be a little too fiddly and time consuming for every day clean up, but we aren't super strict about clean up or organizing over here.If I were getting this as a gift for someone, I'd include a few mystery boxes or a 3-pack of minifigs as well.I expect this case will get banged around quite a bit in travels. I'll post an update if it breaks too soon.Made out of sturdy plastic, it holds a bunch of my daughter's Minecraft toys safely inside. She usually keeps hers in the middle "play" area of the case, instead of putting them back into each individual holding cell on the exterior. It only accommodates the very small figurines in the display area - all of her larger Minecraft toys have to be creatively fit into the middle in order to be carried by the case.I'd have liked it if each cell was a bit larger to hold some of the bigger toys, because not all of the Minecraft toys are of uniform size. The way it is put together reminds me of a tackle box, only without the varying shapes as if all of the lures were exactly the same shape and size. This was created, I think, for a very specific set of the collectible "mystery" set that is/was being sold at various stores. Being a child, however, she cared less about what it was supposed to be fore and found ways to fit everything in.Kids that are into Minecraft, or have other small collectibles they'd like to carry around and keep together should enjoy it. It feels sturdy enough to survive falls (not throws), and I imagine it'll hold up for as long as she's still interested in Minecraft - however long this phase lasts.Love it! My 9 year old Minecraft enthusiast has all 3 series of mini-figures and while we had them in a wooden box, this carry case is so much better. All the characters have a place, and they all fit regardless of size, and can be seen. He doesn't know about it yet, as his bday is coming up in a week, and I know he will love this. I did purchase 2 because with all 3 sets, there is 36 minis and then you buy the extras like the endermite, silverfish, Steve with a fishing pole, magma cube, slime, guardian etc..and he has 47 characters. The box does fold in half so it's smaller and locks with a bar on the side that is easy to move. The clear doors are a little difficult to open, but I think with time, they will break in and open easier. I would recommend this if you want something for a bday party or just because.Update: When my boy opened these on his birthday, he squealed! He LOVES the case and that he can see all his mini figures. He especially liked the 3rd series that was part of his bday. The doors open easy now because he does play with them on the back side. Great idea! This was very expensive and arrived in a drink box. Not in the original box. So was it used? I’m confused as to what I actually paid for? Its just a box that holds the little Minecraft people. Would not have bought if I had known it was used.Absolute rip off! I didn’t read description properly granted, but to pay £30 for an empty plastic box and then have to pay £5 for each figure to fill it???!!!! NOT HAPPY MINECRAFT!! Was a let down for my son on opening as a birthday gift too! ??♀️No wonder there are loads for sale on EBay!Don’t bother buying unless you don’t mind being ripped off!Build quality is pretty good. The front door catches are sufficiently firm to withstand bashes and swinging around without opening and depositing figures everywhere. the side, case lcok and top handle both seem to be equally robust. As with all Minecraft stuff I think they are on the pricey side.Brought for grandson who is Minecraft made. He was impressed with it and now has somewhere to put his figure safelyLovely little case but the slightly bigger figures, those with big heads, wings or capes etc struggle to fit in and need dissecting to get in the holes!Nice
