I want to say the workmanship on the gun and backing was quality work. my husband was upset that the plexiglass front was pushed out and he had to carefully fit it back into place. other than that mishap it is a quality item to purchase. CarrieNow that they adjusted their description to make it clear I am reviewing the item at a higher rating. The case is solid and well made. I did not keep because I was expecting more based on the previous add but the add matches exactly what you are getting. I am not a big fan of the wooden gun mounts they provide but others do like them. The price is fair.Bought two of these. They are OK, not great. These quality is pretty good but the screws that are supplied to mount to the back wall of the case are too short to penetrate. On the other hand if they penetrate at all they will go through the wood. It is a very thin laminated plywood and probably would not hold a very heavy long gun. Really kind of expensive for what they are. Also the Plexi-glass was actually bowed in and behind the metal pins that hold it in place. I had to remove most of them and reinsert once the glass was re-seated.Great project box, I received this as a Christmas gift and set about bipuilding a coustom gun box , added a lock system . ( grandson proof) and put on some decrtive corner trim and latchesVery nicely made and finished. It makes my Henry Rifle look even better, which I thought was impossibleGun cabinet was nice in quality and was a perfect way to show off my husbands grandfathers gun!Awesome display case for the price. You may want to upgrade the hangars.Nice display case
