Case is sturdy and nice. However if it gets caught in any wet weather, whatever’s inside it will be damaged. The reason being mine came with the lid and the base being warped so when closed there is a large gap for moisture and water to get into the case. Other than that it’s niceGreat gun case best I have ever bought love it.This thing is a chunker.If all you could do was see it, it's easy to see that this thing is a tank. Looking at the edges, you can see that it's made with very thick plastic that's going to be considerably stronger than anything you put inside of it. Even the handle joints have a super heavy duty look and feel to them. The locking clips are just as thick, and they have release buttons so that they're not impossible to remove. You can tell that this is a well thought out and engineered case.If you can get your hands on one, you can really feel the difference between this, and a cheap case. This thing is heavy. It's not something I'd want to carry around all day, even though the handle is among the most comfortable I've ever tried. It's very beefy. You can tell that the point of this case is to make sure that whatever you put inside, comes out exactly the same as when you put it in.The wheels are also much better than I expected. I'm used to small wheels being like casters that rattle around on every pebble. These are the closest things to ATV wheels that I can imagine. They run very smooth, and very quiet. I don't expect that I'm going to be dragging this case on the ground any time soon, but as I stated above, if I had to carry it a long distance, those wheels would make themselves invaluable.The look of the case is great. Everything down to the placement of the logo looks classy. Any time I pull this case out people around me get that, "dang, what's he got in there?" look on their faces.The foam is the same as the foam you'd find in any case. It seems there's not a whole lot more you can do with foam these days. It doesn't feel at all abrasive as some cheap foam does, so it's not going to rub up your equipment over time. There are 3 layers, so that makes it easy to custom cut to fit your equipment. A little 3M spray adhesive sticks the layers together, and you'll have a case that's better than anything you could ever buy from a retailer.The flat dark earth coloring on this case is a 10. I'm so used to retailers trying to sell dark brown as flat dark earth. It's not. Flat dark earth blends extremely well in most environments if done properly, and this case has it done properly. In wooded areas it blends well with the trees, and in desert environments it looks like a shaded area of the ground. It's amazing how this color can trick the eye.Overall this is an absolutely fantastic case.Highly recommended.I took out the foam and closed it up. I then took the hose and sprayed the case for a few minutes. This is about the extent of water exposure this case is going to be subjected to. After about eight minutes of spraying the case from different angles I’m satisfied that the item I am going to place in it is going to be safe. No water infiltrated the case during this procedure. It also helps keep small particles and dust out really well. I’m confident the case will protect the item that I’ve placed inside from damage from many types of abuse. I found it to be a very robust design that makes carrying it around easier. The two tires that are real rubber help deaden the vibrations when I am wheeling it on dirt, concrete, and other uneven surfaces. It is quite heavy just by itself but even more when full but again being able to wheel it behind me makes all the difference. The four open/close clasps snap in place tightly giving the rubber ring the best possible seal. It’s a really nice case that will easily take the scratches and bumps instead of the item inside. Four Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!The case comes with 3 layers of foam, this will allow a person to customize via cutting out shadows for the pistols or rifles and or magazines. the layers of the foam provide a very secure fit for the rifles in the case and once the case is closed and lock with the spring load locks (x4) the rifles or pistols or what ever item you want in there, will not move, which means rifles with scopes wont get damage and there is enough cushion to not have to worry about losing Zero on the optic.The wheels on the case are very smooth and rugged enough to roll on semi hard dirt and small rocks.It has a water tight rubber strip around the entire lid that will prevent water from getting in side preventing corrosion on the susceptible parts of a rifle or pistol.2 handles allow to roll or carry lengthwise with great easy. The case by itself is a bit on the heavy side .I was able to fit 2 rifles (one with a red dot optic and the other with a scope) with enough room to put in a few magazines. One rifle is 39-1/2" long and the other is 49" long. to give and idea of the internal fitment area.I have a couple of Condition 1 camera cases and have been very happy with the quality compared to Pelican cases, so I was eager to try their rifle cases. I'm not disappointed. They're super solid, sturdy, and well made. The wheels roll smoothly and are built rugged. The latches open and close super easily and you can work them with one hand. The carrying handle is rubberized and ergonomic so it's comfy to carry – although it is heavy, so I try and carry it as little as possible and roll it when I can. The case is visually attractive and the military-style color options are nice choices.These Condition 1 cases are top-notch quality and offer EXCELLENT protection for whatever you put inside. I very much appreciate that these are made in the USA and would definitely buy more from this company.Fits my AR-15 rifle w/scope with plenty of room to spare. I didn't even need to remove a layer of foam or cut it out, fits snug and tight.The included foam is not the "pick n pluck" type of foam. Its just standard foam that is more difficult to shape to your size you want, but I prefer this type as its less prone to falling apart on you.I use a lot of Pelican branded cases at work at this size. I was assuming that "Condition 1" was going to be a cheaper knock off, but I was wrong. This case offers significant protection for items inside, very sturdy and appears to be constructed well, including the wheels, hinges and latches. There is some minor defects with the plastic mold, some sharp edges but nothing significant.
