What I dislike is that it is advertised on Barnett as fitting explorer models, I have a 400 and it was an extremely tight fit. That is the how they lost the five star for me. Everything else about the case I found to be amazing so all of you that have models that fit. I am sure you will love it. Amazon however how about we don't pack a 50lb back of dog food on these items. Hope you guys enjoy your new case and those of you with an XP 400 its tight but will work.The case looks nice, but would t work well enough if you have the scope on your crossbow.I tried several different ways to get my Barnett Whitetail Hunter STR crossbow to fit in this case without success. The description clearly said it was for this crossbow. First off, the scope will have to be at the very front of the mount to get it close to fit in this case, however; even with that the bow will slide forward when closing because of the shoulder rest and push out the front of the case and not allow it to be completely zipped up. To get close to having it correctly work, all the padding that comes with the case has to be removed allowing no protection along with the shoulder rest has to be removed from the crossbow to get into the case. The case also seems to rest tightly on the scope and pushing down on it, this cannot be good for the scope. The quality of the case itself is very good, it just won't work on a Whitetail Hunter STR.The case is great. It comes with a good amount of soft foam padding (Velcro removable) on the inside to cushion the bow/scope and hold them securely in place, and a harder formed exterior shell to provide serious protection. The zippers (one up each side) seem strong enough to last. The size if nearly perfect. Width and height are ideal (snug, but in a good way). Unfortunately, the front to back length is a problem for the Whitetail Hunter Pro (WHP) I own. The WHP is about an inch longer than the Whitetail Hunter that this case was probably designed for. What that means is that it fits tightly, and the two snaps that seal that front where the stirrup is will not reach/snap in place. I don't consider it s design flaw necessarily, and I plan to use it for my WHP anyway. I'm sure it will be fine. Just know if you own a WHP, it will not reach the snaps between the stirrups. If that is a deal-breaker for you, try something else (bigger).A decent almost hard-shell case, fits the Whitetail II well (unlike the very popular dinosaur sized case being sold here for $39...). Had no other other acceptable available choice on Amazon for the Whitetail II bow, but this case was far too pricey for what you get. Would have been nice if the Chinese Factory used some legitimate quality zippers that would have given it five stars, as opposed to the flimsy lightweight zippers that I am concerned will render it a bungee corded waste of over 6o bucks after a couple months. But someone please explain the purpose of all those extra pads inside the case,bif at least one pad isn't removed you can't close up the case ( will destroy the flimsy zipper if you attempt to do so...) Accessories used to be manufactured with quality and promoted by pride, now it's nothing more than a cost-cutting money maker with a well-known mfg's label. Very sad...Nice case lightweight and protects your crossbowI read on another site that this case would fit my Barnett Hyper Whitetail 410. It doesn’t fit. It is too short and too narrow. This zipper appears to be of questionable durability (flimsy,) but only time would tell about that. The case is rigid and would appear to offer good protection, for a bow of appropriate size, but I have not conducted a crush test. The graphics look better in person.!This is a really nice case, I like the fact that it a hard shell and therefore will protect the bow. Unfortunately it does not fit the Whitetail Pro STR so I reluctantly returned it. Even with a smaller bow there will be no room to store much in the way of accessoreis.has detached everything. only the bow stays on. yet the case is too short to close.Case holds Whitetail Hunter II crossbow perfectly. It would be better if it had some storage sections for rail lube/wax, rope cocker ....etc... but as it is, it's a great looking case.i have a rocky mountain 405 and this case is way too small ,, my crossbow is 18.5 x 34 and it does not fit. otherwise this is a beautiful caseThis is an impressive, high quality hard case that fits the crossbow, arrows and accessories perfectly. A must have for the Barnett Whitetail Hunter II.Incorrect product for my crossbow
